"PK" actor Aamir Khan, who is set for an image make-over, is now getting ready for an action-thriller movie to be directed by South film-maker Shankar.
It is said that Shankar, who has the history of making mass hero movies packed with good messages, has a similar story in store for Khan.
As per the buzz, the Shankar directorial, which is already in the pre-production stage, is being scripted by Honey Irani. The Perfectionist of B-town will reportedly be playing the role of a vigilante.
However, there were reports that it would be a remake of Shankar's earlier film, "Enthiran – The Robot". But Honey Irani has denied the rumours recently and clarified that it is not a sequel to Rajinikanth's sci-fi thriller.
When asked about the plot details, "It will be unfair of me to reveal details of the plot. Let Shankar make an official announcement. All I can tell you at this point is that I'm not writing Robot 2," scriptwriter Honey Irani told the Mumbai Mirror.
