Aamir Khan often intervenes with the creative proceedings of his films, and like always the superstar has apparently chopped off his co stars' – Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput– scenes in "PK".
"Aamir's approach has become a matter of concern for those associated with the project, because this is not the first time that he has wanted to intervene in the editing process. He had received much flak for wanting to chop out scenes of co-stars in Dhoom 3 too. Buzz is that Anushka and Sushant are extremely concerned about their screen time being altered," reported Deccan Chronicle.
In an effort to live up to the 'Mr Perfectionist' tag given to him by his fans and admirers, Aamir often ends up having creative differences with the makers. There have been conjectures that the actor has asked the marketing team of his upcoming film to re-design the promotional strategies since the buzz has dropped after the release of the first poster.
"Taare Zameen Par", which Aamir gladly claims to be his directorial debut, was partly ace filmmaker-actor Amol Gupte's creation. Gupte reportedly said he was disappointed and hurt that despite him being with the star for 109 days of shooting, the "PK" actor went ahead and announced himself as the director at the wrap-up party of the film.
Not just that, Aamir managed to irk his "Dhoom 3" co-stars when he re-shot the climax scenes, which meant chopping off Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif's roles.
"The film is 'locked', but these new developments have meant that several major scenes with Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif could be axed. They had to chop Katrina's scenes from the climax. Katrina isn't too happy with this, but she can hardly do anything about it," DC quoted a source in an article published on 14 November, 2013.
