Vishal and Hansika Motwani starrer "Aambala" movie trailer was released on 31 December midnight as a New Year treat for the Tamil audience. The video-clip shows that the forthcoming flick is a commercial potboiler. (Watch the video below)
The trailer of "Aambala" indicates that the movie is made in typical C Sundar's style. Action sequences, larger-than-life portrayal of Vishal and glamorous Hansika Motwani are the highlights of the trailer. But Santhanam's magic is not visible even though he appears in a few scenes.
All the major characters like Vishal, Hansika Motwani, Sivaji Prabhu and Ramya Krishnan are seen in the trailer. The impression that one gets after watching the video is that "Aambala" is an out-and-out commercial entertainer and it would be a pure masala flick targeted at mass audience.
Vishal is seen as a cop in the trailer, which also shows that Ramya Krishnan in an important role in "Aambala". It is also interesting to note that the trailer does not give away the storyline. In the recent times, a few trailers of big movies had almost revealed the basic plots of the films.
However, the video-clip has impressed the actor's fans and the video has got good response from them. So far, it has got above 75,000 hits on its official Youtube page.
"Aambala" is jointly produced by Sundar C and Vishal himself. Venkat Raghavan has contributed dialogues for the flick, which has SB Ramadas' story. While Hiphop Tamizha has composed the music, Gopi Amarnath has handled the cinematography with NB Srikanth editing the movie.
The Tamil movie will release for Pongal. "Aambala" will be clashing with Ajith Kumar's "Yennai Arindhaal" and Shankar's "I" starring Vikram.
