Film editor Kishore TE, who received the National Award for his work in Dhanush's 2011 movie "Aadukalam" is reportedly in a critical condition following a brain stroke.
Kishore collapsed while he was discussing his next film with Vetrimaran. He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Vadapalani, where the doctors conducted a surgery after finding blood clot in his brain.
Kishore began his career as an assistant editor when he was 21. His first independent film was "Eeram" in 2009 and he has worked in more than 30 films.
The editor has also received Vijay awards for "Engeyum Eppodhum" (2011) and his other films include "Kanchana" (2011), "Aarohanam" (2012), "Paradesi", "Ethir Neechal" (2013) and "Kamasutra 3D" (2014), among others. He last worked in the Tamil, Telugu and Kannada remake of the Malayalam hit film "Salt and Pepper" (2011).
