Nithin and Samantha's Telugu movie "A...Aa" has collected $2,410,919 at the U.S. box office in 24 days. But as predicted, the movie may not cross the $2.5-million mark in its lifetime.
Released in theatres on June 2, "A...Aa" collected $2,312,042 at the U.S. box office in two weeks and was expected to cross the $2.5-million mark in its third week. However, the film clashed with "Udta Punjab" and Nani's "Gentleman," which forced it out of 55 cinema halls and also took a toll on its collection in the third week.
As a result, "A...Aa" showed 80 percent decline in its business in its third weekend, when compared to its second weekend collection. The Trivikram Srinivas-directed movie hit rock-bottom on its third Monday, but showed decent growth on the following days. The film grossed $73,886 from 40 screens in the third weekend and $18,580 on the weekdays.
"A...Aa" grossed $92,466 at the U.S. box office in its third week. Its 23-day total stood at $2,405,888. Taran Adarsh tweeted on June 20: "Telugu film #AAaMovie - USA - Week 3: Fri $ 20,968, Sat $ 32,060, Sun $ 20,858. Total: $ 2,385,928 [₹ 16.12 cr]. AWESOME! @Rentrak. [sic]"

The Nithin and Samantha-starrer need $94,112 the $2.5-million mark. "A...Aa" has hit another new low and collected $5,031 at the U.S. box office on its fourth Friday. Taran Adarsh â€posted: "Telugu film #AAaMovie - USA - Week 4: Fri $ 5,031. Total: $ 2,410,919 [₹ 16.37 cr]. @Rentrak. [sic]"
As per its current pace of collection, "A...Aa" might gross a total of $45,000 in its fourth week, taking its U.S. total business to $2.45 million. The movie will still fall short by $50,000 of the $2.5-million mark. It remains to be seen whether it will be able to achieve this rare feat.
