Director Trivikram Srinivas' "A...Aa," starring Nithin and Samantha, has continued its dream run at the U.S. box office, passing the $2 million mark in nine days.
"A...Aa," which was released on over 135 screens across North America, debuted to record-breaking response in the premiere shows on June 1. Having garnered positive talk from viewers, the movie remained rock-steady and collected $1,910,079 (Rs. 12.77 crore) at the U.S. box office in its eight-day first week. The film became the second-highest-grossing Telugu film in the country in 2016 after "Nannaku Prematho."

The Nithin and Samantha-starrer needed $89,921 to pass the $2-million mark in the country. "Nannaku Prematho" has collected $2,019,211 at the U.S. box office in its lifetime. Junior NTR's Sankranti release is the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2016 in the country. The movie has also become the third-highest grossing Telugu film of all time in the U.S. after "Baahubali" and "Srimanthudu."
"A...Aa" needed $7,242 to beat the lifetime collection record of "Nannaku Prematho." The movie has collected $150,367 at the U.S. box office on its second Saturday, taking its 10-day total to $2,169,578. the movie has shattered the record of the Junior NTR-starrer and become the highest-grossing Telugu film of the year in the U.S.
