Sex And The City 3 rumours erupt
And talking of films, Sex And The City fans got pretty excited this week when reports began circulating online that there may be another movie in the works.
It all kicked off after Sarah Jessica Parker, aka Carrie Bradshaw, appeared to drop a major hint that there will be a part three feature derived from the HBO series which was first adapted for the big screen back in 2008.
The 50-year-old actress teased fans by sharing a snap that showed her in white dress, and a skip in her step, outside Bloomingdales in New York City.
She captioned it, Well. I guess the cats out of the (little brown) bag. As usual, we will keep you posted on every detail as we are able. Im under strict gag order until then.
Because her outfit looked very Carrie Bradshaw and the picture looked like a scene straight out of the hit show, it led many to wonder if the actress was announcing that Sex and the City 3 had started filming.
But it has since been confirmed that Sarah Jessica Parker isnt working on the new movie but bringing her shoe range to Bloomingdales.
American Idol reaches the end of the road
And finally after 16 years, American Idol is preparing to say goodbye.
This week Fox confirmed that it is axing the talent show following its 2016 season.
In a statement posted on its website, the network said that the final season would be a celebratory event that would see the return of Simon Cowell, who quit the show in 2010 to launch the US version of his show The X Factor. Current judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr are also expected to return for the final hurrah.
Although the show has paved the way for stars including Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Adam Lambert, it has struggled in recent years.
In all honestly the rise of shows, including The Voice, The X Factor and Americas Got Talent, coupled with the multiple scandals, Simon Fullers singing competition has lost viewers.
It enjoyed its most success when the media mogul featured alongside Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson as the judging panel.
