In this weeks A-List Insider: Adele returns with a bang, Kate Middleton goes bra-less for Spectre premiere and Steve Jobs flops at the box office.
Adele says Hello to UK chart success
She may have been away for three years, but Adele has not skipped a beat. Days after unveiling her comeback single, Hello, the 27-year-old songstress has soared to number one in the UK charts.
Since its release on 23 October, Hello has sold more than 165,000 copies in the UK with 156,000 of those from downloads, making it the fastest-selling single of 2015.
Thanks to the impressive performance of the emotional ballad, Hello is now on course to overtake Ellie Gouldings record for the biggest opening week sales with Love Me Like You Do. Her Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack song shifted 173,000 in its first week when it was released in January 2015.
The accompanying black-and-white music video for Hello stars 90210s Tristan Wilds who plays Adeles love interest and sees the devastated singer calling her younger self to talk about the mistakes she made.
Kate Middleton stuns at Spectre premiere
Kate Middleton sent tongues wagging at the Spectre premiere in London when she arrived in a stunning floor-length blue Jenny Packham gown. All eyes were on the Duchess of Cambridge, who was joined by her hubby Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry at the star-studded event.
The fashionista strutted down the red carpet, chatted with Daniel Craig and greeted fans while she flashed a hint of her back. But she really turned heads thanks to her sheer dress, which made it obvious that she has gone bra-less for the night.
One more thing...
Danny Boyles Steve Jobs biopic has bombed at the box office. The film which cost £19.6m to make brought in just £4.8m in its opening weekend despite being tipped to make as much as £12.4m.
The lacklustre performance is particularly surprising because the film had received a warm reception from critics and was even given an 85% rating from 168 reviews on film website Rotten Tomatoes.
Then again it could have something to do with the fact that Apples current CEO Tim Cook panned the film and also publicly denounced Michael Fassbenders portrayal of the Apple founder.
