An MP in southern Victoria happened upon the moment a koala strolled into an accounting firm in the town of Leongatha, prompting hearty laughter in an otherwise sombre office.Harriet Shing, a Labor MP, had just finished afternoon tea when she spied the curious marsupial outside, near a main road. Concerned they could get run over, she escorted the koala along the way before her new furry friend approached and entered an accountants office. In a Facebook post on 14 November, Shing wrote: “She / he seemed to be on a bit of a mission, and wasn’t heading towards any of the nearby trees, so I escorted the fuzzy traveller across the road and down the street”. Shing later tweeted: Im sure his taxes are entirely in order, but its important to be thorough.
