Fans of Kamal Haasan and Shruti Haasan celebrated a dream moment recently when the father- daughter duo performed together at Vijay Awards.

The audience and other celebrity guests present at the awards function were stunned and equally thrilled when they saw their favourite actors performing together.

Shruti and Kamal were cheered by fans when they danced to hit song "Rum Bam Bam Aram Bam" from Kamal's hit movie "Michael Madhana Kama Rajan".

Shruti later tweeted that dancing with her father on stage was special for her as a daughter.

The 9th Annual Vijay Awards was a grand function, held at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on 25 April.

The awards function was attended by many personalities from the film industry. Stars like Prabhu Deva, Tamannah, Pooja Kumar, Hip Hop Tamizha, and Laksmi Menon had performed at the event.

Vijay Awards is one of the most sought-after award ceremonies of Tamil cinema. This year, Tamil cinema celebrities and technicians were honoured for their contributions to the industry in 2014.
