At least nine people were reportedly killed when an Iraqi military helicopter crashed south of Baghdad on Tuesday.
The Russian-made chopper crashed due to "technical problem," Agence France-Presse quoted officers as saying.
The deceased include two officers and seven non-commissioned officers.
"A military helicopter of the Mi-17 type crashed because of a technical problem," army Brigadier General Yahya Rasool told AFP.
