The Indian Army has foiled an infiltration bid in the Naugam sector of Jammu and Kashmir killing one terrorist on Monday.
The Pakistan Army has violated ceasefire in the Planwala sector of Akhnoor, Sunderbani and Nowshera sectors after Indian troops killed seven Pakistani soldiers in cross-border firing on Sunday night.
The Pakistan authorities on Monday said that at least seven of its soldiers have been killed in cross-border firing by Indian troops in the Bhimber sector along the Line of Control late on Sunday night.
Pakistan says the soldiers were killed in ceasefire violation.
Army sources said that the firing happened in response to the killing of an Indian soldier in the Machil sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Pakistan government has summoned the Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale over the ceasefire violation.
Pakistan has violated ceasefire over a 100 times since the Indian Army carried out surgical strikes on terror launch pads across the LoC killing 38 terrorists on September 29.
