Akkineni family's Blockbuster movie "Manam" has topped the Telugu winners list of the 62nd Filmfare Awards South, which was announced at a grand ceremony held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai on Friday night, 26 June.

"Manam" has won four coveted awards such as Best Film, Best Director, Best Music Director and Best Lyricist. "Race Gurram" has landed in the second spot in the Telugu winners list with three coveted awards. Other movies such as "Legend", "Chandamama Kathalu" and "Oohalu Gusagusalade" have bagged one award each.
Allu Arjun has won Best Actor award for his performance in "Race Gurram", beating his other actors like Mohan Babu (Rowdy), Nagarjuna (Manam), Sharwanand (Run Raja Run) and Venkatesh (Drushyam). Shruthi Haasan has walked away with the Best actress award for "Race Gurram", beating Anjali (Geethanjali), Kajal Aggarwal (Govindudu Andarivadele), Pooja Hegde (Oka Laila Kosam), Samantha (Manam).
The 62nd Filmfare Awards South 2015 was hosted by singer Chinmayi Sripada and her husband, actor Rahul Ravindran. This award ceremony was a grand and glitzy affair with who's who of South Indian film industry attending it. The awards were given away to the winners amidst the dance performances by popular Southern celebs.
A host of stars from Tollywood including Akkineni Nagarjuna, Allu Arjun, Allu Arvind, Jayaprada, Radhika, Lakshmi Manchu, Shruti Haasan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Pooja Hegde, Pranitha, Nikki Galrani, Sanjjanaa, Catherine Tresa, Shreya Ghoshal and others were present on the occasion.
