A new song titled "440 Volt" from "Sultan," starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma is out. It is a peppy number in the voice of Mika Singh.
The video of the song features Salman wooing Anushka. "440 Volt" has been composed by Vishal-Shekhar while Irshad Kamil has penned the lyrics.
Although Mika has given a huge number of hit songs in Bollywood, "440 Volt" does not fall in the category of his best songs. Salman and Anushka's chemistry in the song looks cute but the track is not catchy enough to win much accolades. The lyrics appear funny and the music too does not match Vishal-Shekhar's profile.
The makers of "Sultan" have been trying to keep up the hype around the movie by releasing new song videos at regular intervals. The videos of "Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai" and "Jag Ghoomeya" songs have been released earlier. While "Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai" is another fast track, the second song is a melodious song rendered by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Both the songs have two versions each, the second one having been sung by Salman himself. The complete audio jukebox of the film has already been released.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, "Sultan" is a sports drama that will present Salman as a wrestler from Haryana. Anushka too plays the character of a wrestler in the film, which also features Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh in key roles. "Sultan" is slated to be released on Eid this year.
