Australia's dramatic tour of South Africa will come to an end in their third and final T20 on Friday. The conditions will remain wet as in the 2^nd T20 in Durban where the two teams got to bowl 7 overs each at match referee Chris Broad's insistence. The Proteas coach Russell Domingo said after the match that the captains and umpires had decided against any play due to wet conditions but didn't have a choice after the referee's call.

"It was a little bit odd because both captains agreed to not give it a go because of the outfield, and the umpires decided not to give it a go," Domingo said on Wednesday. "I think it was overturned by the match referee. At the end of the day it turned out to be a great spectacle for the crowd, but there's always a threat of serious injuries when conditions are like that. But it's done now, and everyone's okay."

Both teams don't want to hear any injury news ahead of a big tournament and will play it safe at SuperSport Park.

"The problem is, you're leading up to a Twenty20 tournament which is pretty important and both sides would have been worried about injures," saod Australia's Brad Hodge, whose quickfire knock saw his side home in the 2nd T20. "It was a pretty good game of cricket in the end. You've come all the way to South Africa, you want to play cricket. You don't want washouts in all three games."

Hodge hit two huge sixes in the last over of the 2^nd match to take Australia to victory, he was also awarded the man-of-the-match. He, along with Shane Watson and David Warner will need to set the batting on fire if Australia are going to make any difference in the World Cup. In the same way, Albie Morkel, AB de Villiers and JP Duminy will need to do the trick for South Africa.
