The first-look teaser of the much-awaited Jyothika starrer, "36 Vayadhinile", was released on Wednesday. As expected, it is all about the character played by the actress, who has made sure that it is going to be a treat for her fans.
The teaser portrays varied emotions of the actress. It shows a strong-willed woman who is struggling to be successful in her life. One thing that is noticeable throughout is that you cannot find actress Jyothika in the video, but only her character. With her new look and appearance, the actress has proved that there is lot more in her to contribute to the cinema world.
The makers were able to the display the strength of the character through the video and this indicates that there is a good movie in store for all cinema lovers. Another noticeable aspect of the teaser is the cinematography by R Diwakaran that makes the film impressive with its colour tones and palates.
The background score by Santhosh Narayanan also deserves appreciation. Editing is handled by Mahesh Narayan who has managed to put together the feel of Santhosh's music and Jyothika's character in the most beautiful way possible.
"36 Vayadhinile" marks Jyothika's return to cinema after a gap of eight years. The story and direction of the film are handled by Rosshan Andrrews, who had directed the original version, "How Old Are You", in Malayalam, starring Manju Warrier. Interestingly, Manju Warrier too made her return to film industry after 14 years with the movie.
The film is produced by Jyothika's husband and actor Suriya, under the banner of 2D Entertainment. Suriya has also bagged the remake rights of the movie in Kannada and Hindi.
