Vikram Kumar, who is getting ready for the release of "24," is prepared for his next project. He is all set to collaborate with Allu Arjun, who is basking in the success of his latest movie "Sarainodu."
The director has confirmed the news to the Times of India and said, "I had a few scripts ready. One of them has got a green signal now — Allu Arjun will star in it, but the other cast in the movie is yet to be decided."
Vikram Kumar has a few scripts ready, including a medical-thriller and a sports-based story. He also wishes to make a sequel to his 2009 "Yavarum Nalam" and plans to approach Madhavan, who starred in the first instalment, to play the lead role in the sequel as well. However, he will be starting Allu Arjun's film first before moving on to other projects.
Vikram Kumar's last two films ("Manam" and "Ishq") in Tollywood turned out to be hits. Hence, people will have high expectations from his film with Allu Arjun.
Meanwhile, Vikram Kumar's "24" will release in Tamil and Telugu on May 6. It is a science-fiction on time travel, which has Suriya, Samantha and Nithya Menen in the lead roles. The movie has generated a lot of curiosity with its colourful visuals.
On the other hand, Allu Arjun's "Sarainodu" has performed pretty well at the box office despite getting mixed reviews. The movie is written and directed by Boyapati Srinu and produced by Allu Aravind. Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa play female leads in the flick.
Allu Arjun has given nods to a few films, including "Race Gurram 2" and an untitled film with Trivikram Srinivas.
