The 2019 World Cup final should have left everyone feeling satisfied at having watched, arguably, the greatest cricket match of all time. But unfortunately, the aftermath of the game has been marred by debates over the rules and regulations that worked in England's favour despite them not having overpowered New Zealand's score throughout the contest, including the super over.
In fact, England got bowled out for 241 whereas New Zealand where only 8-down when their innings ended. This has led to a large number of Twitter-users lashing out at ICC – cricket's governing body – for having put in place rules which, according to them, have treated the Kiwis very unfairly.
