Japanese motorcycle maker Kawasaki has updated its Ninja H2 hyper-sport bike range in India. The new 2019 range includes Ninja H2 priced at Rs 34.5 lakh, the Ninja H2 Carbon priced at Rs 41 lakh and the track-spec Ninja H2R which is priced at a whopping Rs 72 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
Kawasaki's most powerful street models with the 2019 update have become even more powerful. The Ninja H2 now makes 230bhp (up by 20bhp) owing to updates in the ECU, air intakes, spark-plugs and the air filter. 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 now develops a total of 141.7 Nm of peak torque (up by 8.2Nm).
In addition to the spike in power, the new Ninja H2 and H2 Carbon get TFT colour instrumentation along with smartphone connectivity. Using the smartphone application 'Rideology the app,' a number of instrument functions such as vehicle info, riding log, telephone notice, general settings and others can be accessed.
2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 range is fitted with Brembo's Stylema monobloc callipers which are the company's latest high-spec street-use callipers. The new Ninja H2 also features Kawasaki's new highly durable paint with a special coat that allows scratches to heal themselves.
For improved handling, the new Ninja H2 comes with Bridgestone RS11 sport tyres. Moreover, all the lighting equipment (headlamp, position lamps, taillight, turn signals and license plate lamp) on the Ninja H2 and H2 Carbon are now LED unit.
2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2R also gets Brembo's new Stylema monobloc callipers. In addition, new 'Supercharged' emblem and Kawasaki's highly durable paint has been added to the ultimate track machine.
The entire 2019 Ninja H2 range of bikes will be imported to India as CBU units from Japan. India Kawasaki Motor will start bookings for the new range from September and will be closed by November 2018. The delivery to the customers will be done in next year.
