Triumph Motorcycles India is gearing up for the launch of 2017 Street Triple. The British motorcycle maker has already started accepting bookings for the new Street Triple in India and the naked street fighter is slated to enter ma the ket on June 12. The delivery will commence by the end of June.

Ahead of the launch, Triumph released a teaser video of 2017 Street Triple. Though the teaser video doesn't show the model clearly, the twin bug-eyed headlamp is good enough indication that it is the new Street Triple.
2017 Triumph Street Triple range consists of three models-- Street Triple S, Street Triple R and Street Triple RS. All models come with new 765cc heart; a significant upgrade from the current version's 675cc motor. However, the specifications, technology and suspension are different.

For India, the basic Triple S will be the launch model. Triumph has extended the beastly look of the bike with minor yet pronouncing tweaks. This version will develop 111bhp at 11,250rpm and 73Nm of torque 9,100rpm mated to six-speed gearbox. The S version will also boast of Road and Rain riding modes.
Street Triple S has Showa 41mm USD suspension at front and Showa piggyback reservoir monoshock at the rear. Braking comes from twin 310mm floating discs up front and Single 220mm fixed disc at the rear. Street Triple S is available in Diablo Red and Phantom Black colours.
Triumph claims the new variants have over 80 new parts, including crank, pistons and swing-arm. The new range will be more agile since it has shed almost two kilograms. All three models also get ride-by-wire and traction control. Street Triple S is expected to be priced around Rs 10.5 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
