The launch of the new version of Maruti Suzuki's latest compact sedan is just a few days away. Much of the details of the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire are already in the open following unveiling of the car for the media in April. But what you may have missed out on is the colour scheme. Have you seen Dzire's new body colour of Sherwood Brown?
A new video of CarandBike that features Maruti Suzuki's manufacturing plant from where the new Dzire will be rolled out shows the model in different colours, both the existing and new options. The all- new 2017 Dzire will come in three new colours -Sherwood Brown, Oxford Blue and Gallant Red along with the existing Magma Grey, Silky Silver and Arctic White. The model looks appealing donning Sherwood Brown that simply stands out from rest of the body shades.
The new Dzire will be launched in the country on May 16. There is no word on the pricing of the model yet. But the rumours are rife that the Maruti will price it in the range of Rs. 5.5 to Rs. 9.5 lakh, ex-showroom. While the new Dzire is incorporating several changes on the exterior as well as in the cabin of the model, there is no change under the hood. The Dzire, in its new avatar will continue to draw power from 85bhp 1.2-litre petrol and the 75bhp 1.3-litre diesel mill and will come paired to five-speed manual and AMT box.
To be offered in Lxi/Ldi, Vxi/Vdi, Zxi/Zdi and Zxi+/Zdi+ variants, the 2017 Dzire sedan will feature large grille, sweptback projector headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights, dual-tone colours and new front and rear bumper.
