It may be just a couple of hours before the new Dzire compact sedan is launched in India by Maruti Suzuki, but that has not kept spy photographers at bay. Several images of the new model are making their way to the internet leaving nothing for the imagination.

A cursory glance at the latest set of spy shots of the new Dzire mid-variant V offers insights into both the exterior and interior of the model. Surprisingly, the mid-variant of the new 2017 Dzire does not get features such as LED headlamp with DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) and the rear parking sensors.
At the front, the Dzire spotted by the shutterbugs gets generous amount of chrome around the new grille and bumper. The Dzire in the picture shows body-coloured ORVMs with integrated turn signals and there are new wheel covers as well. At the rear, the new Dzire LED tail lamps come with minor tweaks in the bumper.
Coming to the cabin of the new Dzire, the spotted variant shows three-spoke steering wheel with audio control buttons, 2-DIN audio system and multi-information display (MID). It gets dual-tone beige and black colour treatment.
Powering the new Dzire will be the same tried and tested 85bhp 1.2-litre petrol and the 75bhp 1.3-litre diesel mill paired with five-speed manual and AMT box. While the petrol variants of the new Dzire are expected to clock a mileage figure of 22kmpl, the diesel models are expected to give 28.4kmpl.
The new Dzire will come in Lxi/Ldi, Vxi/Vdi, Zxi/Zdi and Zxi+/Zdi+ variants and will offer six body colour options-- Oxford Blue, Sherwood Brown, Gallant Red, Magma Grey, Silky Silver and Arctic White. The bookings for 2017 Maruti Suzuki Dzire are open across the dealerships of the company.
The first lot of the new Dzire have arrived at the showroom of Maruti Suzuki and the prices will be revealed on May 16 at the launch.
