Bajaj is reportedly planning to launch the updated version of its Pulsar 200NS in India by the end of this year. The new Pulsar 200NS has been undergoing tests on the Indian roads for quite some time now.
The updated versions of its flagship motorcycle Pulsar 200NS is expected to come with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). Bajaj currently is not selling the model in India owing to the poor demand for the 200NS.
From what we know so far, the new Pulsar 200NS is likely to get the same 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled unit that develops 23bhp of power and 18.3Nm of torque. However, Bajaj might re-tune the engine for better fuel efficiency.
From a visual stand point, the Pulsar 200NS could get new body decals and exterior colour options. Bajaj is likely to launch the new Pulsar 200Ns in two variants -- with ABS and without. Rumours are also rife that Pulsar 200NS is likely to get the same ABS-layout as Pulsar RS200. The motorcycle is also likely to get new features like AHO (Automatic Headlight On).
Bajaj is likely to launch the new Pulsar 200NS after its much-awaited VS400 power cruiser's launch. Although the new power cruise was rumoured to come with the Pulsar tag, it has now been confirmed that the VS400 will be launched as a new brand without the Pulsar badging.
The Pune-based two-wheeler maker is also expected to bring the new Pulsar range of the market in next couple of months.
