Hero MotoCorp is expected to launch its 2016 Hero Splendor Pro facelift in October. Ahead of the launch of the new avatar of Hero's popular commuter motorcycle Splendor Pro, the model has started arriving at dealer showrooms.
Folks at GaadiWaadi have shared the images of the new Hero Splendor Pro taken at a showroom and the images clearly show the changes made to the motorcycle. From a visual standpoint, the 2016 Splendor Pro flaunts a new front styling with square profile headlight and seems to have adopted a styling similar to the Splendor iSmart.
Coming to the side profile, the new Splendor Pro gets a bulky fuel tank with a rider leg grip. The instrument cluster of the new Splendor gets chrome-touch with three pods. As for power, it is likely to come from the same 97.2 cc air-cooled 4-stroke single-cylinder engine which can churn out 8.2bhp of power and 8.05 Nm of torque.
In India, Hero recently unveiled its 110cc scooter Duet and Maestro Edge. Both the scooters come powered by 110.9cc single-cylinder engine, tuned to dish out a power of 8.2hp at 8000rpm and a peak torque of 8.30 Nm at 6500rpm, and mated to a CVT transmission.
