Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has premiered its quarter litre offerings KTM RC 250 and KTM Duke 250 at the 2015 Thailand Motor Expo.
The KTM RC 250 and KTM Duke 250 , the 250cc duo that made its debut at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show is powered by 250 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that can generate 31bhp of power at 9,000 rpm and 24Nm of peak torque at 7,250 rpm.
Both RC 250 and Duke250, which adhere to the styling of RC and Duke offerings are based on the standard trellis frame and get disc brakes at front and rear and monoshock setup at the rear. The KTM RC250 and KTM 250 Duke weigh 147kg and 139kg respectively.
The models, which are produced at Bajaj's Chakan plant, are not in sales in Thailand. In India as well, the KTM 250 duo is not on sale now. It is not clear if RC 250 and 250 Duke will make their way to the Indian market. Considering the current market scenario, KTM is unlikely to bring the new 250 duo to the Indian market.
