Maruti Suzuki's newly launched Ertiga facelift has started arriving at dealerships for display and demo, while the reports indicate that the new avatar of the MPV Ertiga has a waiting period of up to one month.
A CarWale report claims that the dealers of Maruti have started getting the first lot of the 2015 Ertiga facelift and the prospective buyers may have to wait about a month to get the new MPV.
Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest car maker launched its new Ertiga MPV in India on 17 October for a starting price of Rs 5.99 lakh for petrol engine and Rs 7.55 lakh for diesel variants, ex-showroom Delhi. Under the hood, the newest avatar of Maruti's popular MPV Ertiga gets 1.4-litre K Series petrol engine and 1.3 multi-jet diesel engines.
While the new Ertiga's 1.3 multi-jet diesel engine, developing 89bhp and 200Nm of torque, now gets SHVS small hybrid system that debuted with Ciaz hybrid, the petrol engine comes mated to 4-speed automatic transmission as an option. The MPV is now tuned to deliver a fuel efficiency of 24.52kmpl in diesel models and 17.5kmpl in petrol variants.
As for features, 2015 Ertiga facelift gets engine start/stop button, new upholstery, electric folding mirrors and keyless entry and SmartPlay infotainment system.
