2015 Hyundai Verna Facelift Launched in India; Price, Bookings, Feature Details [PHOTOS]

It is here finally. South Korean auto major Hyundai has launched its new Verna facelift in India with a price tag of ₹7.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new Verna, christened 4S Fluidic Verna, does not carry dramatic changes in terms of its styling and design. However, the new updated front and rear profiles of the facelifted Verna would be enough to differentiate the car from the existing model.

From a visual stand point, the new Verna gets new larger headlamps, redesigned bonnet and fog lights. At the back too, the facelifted avatar of Verna has received minor tweaks, but the side profile of the model remained more or less same to the current model. Inside the cabin, the Verna facelift gets upgrade music system with 1GB storage option. Otherwise, the styling and feature of the model remain the same.

Now coming to the engine specifications of the new Verna, the same tried and tested 1.4-litre diesel and petrol engines and 1.6-litre diesel and petrol engines continue to power the model. While the 1.4-litre petrol engine is tuned to churn out 107 PS of power and 135 Nm of torque with a mileage of 17.43 km/l, the 1.6 litre petrol unit is capable of generating 123 PS of power and 155 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 6-speed manual and 4-speed AT.

The bookings for the new Verna facelift are already under way in the country with a down payment of ₹21,000.
