A new image of what is believed to be the facelifted avatar of Honda's premium scooter Aviator has been leaked on the web ahead of the possible launch in the country later this year.
Posted by MotorBeam, the image gives a clear idea of what to expect from the new Aviator.
From the image, the Aviator facelift, which is expected to make its market debut in the second half of the year, seems to have received a new front and side design. The model looks slimmer in its facelifted avatar and the front end features new headlights and turn indicators. There seems to be new alloy wheels on the menu for the faelifted Aviator along with new and aggressive rear end.
It is likely to be powered by the same 109.2cc air-cooled, 4-stroke engine which is tuned to dish out 8 BHP of power at 7000 RPM and 8.77 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM, with V-Matic transmission. The current Aviator can attain a top speed of 83 km/hr and offers a mileage of 60kmpl.
Earlier it was also reported that Honda is also planning to bring its Lead and PCX 150 scooters to India. Lead 12cc scooter, a model that is already being sold in few international markets like Vietnam and Japan is powered by 125cc, single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which can generate a power of 11.33bhp and comes equipped with Honda's 'Smart Power' technology.
On the other hand, PCX 150 gets power from 153cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC (single overhead camshaft), liquid-cooled engine that can churn out a maximum power output of 13.4bhp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 14Nm at 5,000rpm.
