2015 Ford Figo Hatchback Spotted Again; Expected Launch, Price, Feature Details [PHOTOS]

Ford's upcoming Figo hatchback has been caught on camera once again.

It started testing the new Figo hatchback and sedan on Indian roads recently and the models were already spied numerous times. Now, the latest spy shots came from Indian Autos Blog reader and the images showed the front grille of the model.

Known as Ford Ka in Brazil, the India-bound version's engine line-up of Figo hatchback is expected to 1.2 litre petrol motor and 1.5 litre TDCi diesel engine, which can generate a power of 89bhp and a peak torque of 204Nm.

In Brazil, Ford Ka gets power from naturally-aspirated 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine, which can churn out a power of 85bhp and peak torque of 10.7kgm. The engine comes mated to five-speed manual gearbox and would be capable of running on gasoline and ethanol.

Speaking of the features expected in the new Figo model, the rumours on the web suggest electrically-adjustable wing mirrors, power windows and dual front airbags.

The new Figo hatchback, a replacement of current Figo in the country will be pegged against Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 and Tata Bolt. The model is likely to get a price tag around ₹4 lakh.

The company is expected to break the cover of new Figo hatchback by mid-2015. The Figo sedan, which is also in the 2015 product line-up of Ford for India will rival Tata Zest, Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Xcent.
