The buzz around the upcoming Maruti Swift facelift is growing dramatically as we are inching closer to the launch of the car in the country.
Ahead of its possible launch, the official brochures of the Swift facelift have emerged on the cyber space, giving us the mileage figures of the car. And it is interesting to know that Maruti's new Swift avatar is set to give the best-in-class mileage.
Thanks to the folks at IndianHoods for the latest leaks. The website has posted the scanned images of Maruti Swift official brochures and as per this, the petrol facelift is tuned to deliver a fuel efficiency of 20.4kmpl, while the diesel model of Swift is expected to return 25.2kmpl.
Most intriguing of all is that the new Swift facelift continues to get power from the same engines of its current model.
Although, Maruti is yet to confirm the launch of Swift facelift in India, the report also claims that the new model is likely to see the light of the day on 24 October, Friday.
One of India's favourite hatchbacks, Swift, has been in the news for quite some time now. The car, which was caught on camera while on test, is expected to get features like power-folding wing mirrors and silver L-shaped elements for fog light enclosures. The top-end models of Swift ZXi/ZDi are slated to get reverse-parking sensors, Bluetooth, and engine-starter button.
Now talking of the prices of Swift facelift model, the base variant LXi is rumoured to get a price tag of ₹4,42,000, while the other petrol models will get a price tag in the range of ₹4,49,000 to ₹5,90,000.
The entry-level variant of Swift facelift diesel is likely to get ₹5, 56,000, while the high-end model will get a ₹6,95,000 price point.
