UPDATE: 2014 Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift Launched; Prices, Features, Booking, Mileage and More [PHOTOS]

The wait is finally over. Dealers of Maruti Suzuki have started receiving the new avatar of hot hatchback Swift, consolidating previous rumours that the car will see the light of the day by the end of October.

Maruti launched its new Swift facelift silently at a starting price of ₹4.42 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Engine: As we have said earlier, there is no change in the engines of the new Swift facelift, but the power of 1.2-litre petrol engine has been reduced from 85.8bhp to 83.1bhp to improve the fuel efficiency. Now with the improved fuel efficiency, the Swift facelift has grabbed the most fuel-efficient vehicle title in its segment.

The petrol Swift facelift will offer a fuel efficiency of 20.4 kmpl, while the diesel model is tuned to give a mileage of 25.2 kmpl.

Swift hatchback, one of the best selling cars from Maruti's stable is all set to entice the auto lovers in the country with its new avatar. As we know, the mid-life facelift of the cars usually do not carry dramatic changes and it is the same with Maruti Swift facelift too. However, the new front fascia with wider air dam and the upgraded interiors of the new Swift facelift would be enough to differentiate the car from the existing model.

The Swift facelift includes features like electrically Retractable anf Adjustable ORVMs, 12 spoke alloy wheels, Reverse parking sensor's with display, new audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted call and audio controls, I-key entry and new fabric upholstery.

The dealerships of the company across the country have started accepting bookings for new Swift facelift with a token amount of ₹10,000 and the car is expected to be on the road by next week. Swift facelift base variant LXi is priced at ₹4, 42,000, while the other petrol model is priced in the range of ₹4, 49,000 to ₹5, 90,000.

The diesel models of Swift facelift gets a price tag in the range of ₹5,56,000 to ₹6,95,000.
