Just a few hours ahead of the much-awaited launch of Mahindra Scorpio facelift, a new set of spy shots of the SUV has surfaced online, showcasing the interior of the new model along with its complete design.
This is the second time that the completely undisguised Mahindra Scorpio facelift has been spied. Earlier this week the new avatar of SUV was spied without any camouflage, detailing us the changes received to the exterior of the car.
Now in the hours leading up to the expected launch event, automobile website Rushlane has posted a series of Scorpio facelift images, revealing its interiors.
Judging from the latest images, the new Scorpio is likely to get steering wheel with integrated audio controls similar to XUV 500, touch-screen infotainment system with GPS navigation, new instrument cluster, rear AC vents and stylish Multi-Information Display. The power windows switch has been placed to door panel.
Expected to be offered in six trims - S2, S4, S6, S6+, S8 and S10, new Scorpio facelift will get the 2.5-litre m2DiCr diesel engine and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel.
The company has already started the bookings for the new SUV in the country with the down payment of ₹20,000 and the delivery of the Scorpio is expected to begin within a month's time from the date of launch.
The users can also book the SUV through the online retailer Snapdeal.
Although the company is yet to reveal the pricing details of the Scorpio facelift, rumours suggest that the SUV will fall in the price range of ₹8-13 lakh.
Production of new Scorpio has begun prior to the launch and previous reports have indicated that the company is planning to stock more than 5,000 Scorpio facelifts before the launch.
