Shankar's forthcoming movie 2.0 seems to be getting bigger than expected. Well, it is because the makers are now planning to approach a few big names to play a cameo in the upcoming flick, which is being simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Rumours are rife that Shankar is keen to rope in a Telugu star to do a guest appearance in 2.0. The makers are considering either Chiranjeevi or Mahesh Babu to do a cameo in the movie in order to attract Telugu audience.
It is said that a Telugu star's presence will boost the collection and it will be a big advantage for 2.0. However, it is not clear whether the talks have been initiated or it is yet to begin.
Coming to the movie, the makers had recently launched the first look of the movie and it met with positive reviews. The posters have also created curiosity in the minds of the fans, who are keen to see who will play the villain between Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the film.
The movie was launched last December and a majority of the shooting has been completed. It is expected to be wrapped up in the next couple of months following which the post-production works will commence.
2.0 is being made with a budget of Rs 360 crore. Lyca Production is bankrolling the film, which has Akshay Kumar in the role of an eccentric scientist called Dr Richard and Rajinikanth as scientist Vaseegaran. Amy Jackson plays the female lead in the mega-budget movie, which will light the screens next Deepavali.
