Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar will launch the first look of Rajinikanth-starrer 2.0, which is popularly known as Enthiran 2. The event is scheduled to take place at Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai, on 20 November at 5 pm.
The production house has apparently arranged a grand event, which is expected to become the talk of the town. The function will be attended by some of the big names from Bollywood. The makers have already confirmed that Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Shankar, AR Rahman and the entire cast and crew will be present at the first-look launch of 2.0.
Interestingly, the event will be live streamed online on the official YouTube page of Lyca Productions. In the recent history, the first-look launch of Baahubali: The Conclusion and the movie launch event of Kamal Haasan's Sabaash Naidu were streamed online.
Lyca Productions is bankrolling 2.0 with an estimated budget of Rs 350 crore, which makes it the most expensive film in India to date. Rajinikanth will be seen in the lead role, while Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar plays a baddie named Dr Richard. Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain and others are in the supporting cast. Amy Jackson is playing the female lead in the multilingual movie.
Meanwhile, the first look announcement has been also made through a poster. See the promotional material below:

2.0 is being simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu languages. The film will be dubbed into Hindi. The movie has AR Rahman's music, Nirav Shah's cinematography and Anthony's editing.
The forthcoming movie is said to be a sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Enthiran - The Robot. The first instalment featured Rajinikanth in a double role, with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan playing the female lead. Danny Denzongpa, Santhanam, Karunas and others were also in the cast.
It was one of the biggest South Indian hits of its times and had set a new benchmark at the box office.
