Jill Duggar is still counting her days with the baby bump, as her husband Derrick Dillard posted a photo of her on Instagram holding a board with the words "41 weeks and 4 days".
TLC is scheduled to air a special on the baby's birth in a two-hour "19 Kids and Counting" episode, which will mainly focus on the "highly anticipated birth of Jill and Derick Dillard's baby," but the fans will also get Jill's mother, Michelle Duggar's "best motherly advice."
Jill, 23, , and her 26-year-old hubby are expecting their first child, a boy for quite some time as Jill has exceeded her due date by more than a week. "Still waiting to meet our little guy," Derrick wrote. "Maybe we'll have an Easter baby! #jillmdillard #babydilly".
Fans of "19 Kids and Counting" awaited the news of their child with bated breath after Jill revealed on social media earlier this week that she was having Braxton Hicks contractions. These contractions generally occur before labour and are often confused with the real thing. Derick increased the enthusiasm of the fans when he posted a new blog entry on DillardFamily.com that said that Jill was in labour pain.
"I can't even describe right now the anticipation I am feeling, as I am about to get to meet my firstborn son for the first time face to face," his post read. "So many people have already testified that nothing can quite describe that moment and that I'll just have to experience it for myself."
Initially Derrick had hoped that their baby boy would be born on their engagement anniversary on 29 March, as he posted a picture of them a year ago. But when that did not happen Jill thought of encouraging her labour pains with a Mexican lunch.
Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob Duggar of the "19 Kids and Counting" fame have been quite happy about their fourth grandchild. Jill is their fourth child and second daughter amongst the 19 children that the couple have had.
