At least 15 people were left injured after a bomb exploded in a private bus in Haryana. The blast took place a little before 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
The blast took place in Haryana's Fatehabad district, which is located about 200 kilometres away from Chandigarh. The explosive device was left in a black bag. Local authorities suggested sulphur (which is also used to make firecrackers) was used, NDTV reported.
According to reports, senior police officers and a bomb disposal squad have reached the site of the incident and are looking into the matter.
This is the second time an explosion took place in the northern Indian state in the last two weeks. Since January, Haryana has seen four such low-grade explosions, the Indian Express reported.
