Released on 19 October 1995, the film made King Khan the eternal romantic that he is known for today. Having done intense action-thriller films like "Baazigar" and "Darr", he was being categorised as a villain the viewers could relate to.
In other news, Kajol told Bollywood Life that it's her friendship with Shah Rukh that makes their chemistry so special. "I think history created our chemistry. I believe it has to do with the cinematic history, and with the comfort of the person. Somewhere, because he's a friend and we've worked together for so long, it's easier and there's a comfortable body language even if it doesn't register. Our films together have done well, and that in itself adds spice. It's at the back of everybody's mind," the portal quoted her as saying.
