Actor and dancer Vineeth has been choosy about his roles. In his latest flick, "100 Days of Love", he will be seen as Nithya Menen's father.
"I play the heroine's father in this film. Praveena plays my wife and the parents are shown sharing a pure and serene relationship. We play a chilled-out couple and supporting parents to Nithya. We share a friendly relationship with our daughter in this film," Vineeth said to The Times of India.
Vineeth has reportedly changed his appearance and will be seen in a salt and pepper look in the film.
Vineeth was last seen in Rajan Shankaradi directorial "Cleopatra" (2013), which opened to poor reviews. The actor who was busy with his dance performances around the world expressed his happiness to come back in films along with the young brigade of Malayalam cinema.
"I am mostly occupied with my dance shows and recently I performed with Shobana and Priyadarshini Govind. At the same time I am looking for meaningful roles in cinema. There is a refreshing change and realistic trends that are being incorporated in films. We have young stars like Fahadh, Dulquer and Nithya doing a great job. The movie, 'Bangalore Days', is a milestone in Malayalam cinema. It is a universal hit and a welcome change for the industry," the actor added.
The shooting of "100 Days of Love" is currently progressing in Bangalore. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in the lead and is directed by Jenuse Mohammed, son of ace film-maker Kamal.
"100 days of Love" is an urban romantic comedy film based in Bangalore and Dulquer will be seen as a feature writer who meets a mysterious girl played by Nithya. The rest of the film tells the story of the happenings in 100 days where Dulquer gets to know more about Nithya. The film is said to have the right mix of comedy, love and romance.
The film also has Shekhar Menon, Aju Varghese, Santhosh Keezhatoor and Rahul Madhav in pivotal roles.
"100 Days of Love" is produced by K. V. Vijayakumar Palakkunnu and Shafeer Sait under the banner of Aishwarya Sneha Movies.
