Ajith's upcoming film "Veeram" has received a clean "U" certificate from the censor board and is now entitled to entertainment tax exemption.
The film, deemed as a racy action entertainer is all set to hit screens on 10 January, 2014.
The Ajith starrer is gearing up for a massive release worldwide. The film's shooting has been completed and the team has already begun the post-production work.
Directed by "Siruthai" siva, "Veeram" revolves around Ajith and his four brothers played by Bala, Vidarth, Suhail and Munish. The film's teaser, which was released last month, has generated a lot of buzz among Ajith fans.
"Veeram" audio, which was officially launched last week has also received positive response from fans. The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and the album has five tracks. To check the complete track list, click HERE.
There is a positive pre-release buzz about the film despite low key promotional activities. According to reports, "Veeram" might get remade in Kannada language as Kannada producer K Manju has reportedly acquired the remake rights of the film, even before its release. This information coupled with Ajith's presence is likely to generate a lot of hype surrounding the film.
With "Veeram" receiving a clean "U" certificate, it is right on schedule for 10 January release. The Ajith starrer is likely to clash with Vijay's "Jilla", which is also releasing around the same time.
It may be recalled that Ajith's "Arrambam", which released this year, also received a clean "U" certificate from the censor board. The stylish action entertainer was a big box office hit worldwide and even the Telugu dubbed version of the film performed decently at the Andhra Pradesh box office.
It remains to be seen if "Veeram" will be able to repeat the box office success of "Arrambam" and will be another big hit in Ajith's career.
