Kannada actor-cum-director Rakshit Shetty has set a new trend by releasing a 10-minute video of "Simple Aag Ond Love Story", which went on to become a blockbuster this year. He is now back with the trailer of his next project titled "Ulidavaru Kandante".
The four-minute, seven-second long video has received good response from viewers since its release on December 6.
Besides direction and acting, Rakshit Shetty has also penned the story and screenplay for "Ulidavaru Kandante", which is set in small fishing town called Malpe near the temple town of Udupi on the Arabian coast. The film revolves around violence in Malpe during the Krishna Janmashtami.

Produced by Hemanth and Suni & Abhi Music, "Ulidavaru Kandante" also features Kishore, Achuth Kumar, Tara, Rishabh Shetty, Sheetal Shetty, Yajna Shetty, Dinesh Mangaluru and B Suresha in important roles. The trailer gives a glimpse of their roles.
B Ajaneesh Loknath has composed the music and background score, while Karm Chawla handled the cinematography for "Ulidavaru Kandante". Presented by Suvin Cinemass, the film is scheduled to release in on March 2014.
The trailer launch of "Ulidavaru Kandante", which was held on December 7, was attended by Power Star Puneet Rajkumar, Loose Mada Yogesh, Harshika Poonacha, Meghana Gaonkar and director Pawan Wadeyar.
