Siddharth's "Theeya Velai Seiyanum Kumaru (TVSK)" has opened to a good start at the domestic box office.
"TVSK" has raked in approximately ₹5.90 crore in the opening weekend at the Tamil Nadu box office.
"#TVSK takes TN box-office by storm. Fri - Rs 1.65 Cr. Sat Rs 1.93Cr. Sun Rs 2.32 Cr Total = Rs 5.90 Cr (Approx) .Good opening," senior journalist Sreedhar Pillai tweeted.
The film tops the Chennai box office (from 14 June to 16 June), followed by Shiva's "Thillu Mullu", a family entertainer which was released on the same date as "TVSK."

The Siddharth-Santhanam combo has worked wonders for "TVSK" with the film doing good business at the overseas markets as well.
In the opening weekend, "TVSK" fetched ₹21.59 lakh at the US box office, while the film raked in ₹11.63 lakh at the UK box office.
"Tamil film #TVSK *opening weekend* UK £ 12,875 [Rs 11.63 lacs] ... USA $ 37,209 [Rs 21.59 lacs]," trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.
"TVSK" dominated over "Thillu Mullu" at the US box office. Shiva starrer fetched ₹4.39 lakh in the first weekend. The number of screens for these films varies.
The Telugu version of "TVSK" titled "Something Something" has minted ₹13.22 lakh at the US box office. "Telugu film #SomethingSomething *opening weekend* USA $ 22,787 [Rs 13.22 lacs]," Taran tweeted.
"Something Something" has been dominating the Andhra Pradesh box office as well. According to trade reports, the film has had an above average start in the opening weekend.
Siddharth and Hansika Motwani (female lead) have been retained in both the Telugu and Tamil versions. Brahmanandam reprises the role of love guru in the Telugu version, which has been donned by Santhanam in the Tamil version.
"TVSK" is directed by Sundar C of "Winner" fame.
