The two-day grand finale of "The X Factor" USA 2013 is set to begin in a few hours with the remaining three contestants to perform live for the last time this season for America's vote.
Alex & Sierra, Jeff Gutt and Carlito Olivero advanced to the finals last week after America voted for them based on their performances in the semi-finals. Restless Road, consisting of Andrew Peter Scholz, Colton Lane Pack and Zach Ryan Beeken, went sent packing last week despite their coach Simon Cowell repeatedly saying that the final would be the same without them.
Wednesday's live performance will be telecast live at 8/7c (6:30 am IST, Thursday) on Fox television channel.
The finals will witness each of the finalists performing three songs each - two solos and a duet with an artist.
Alex & Sierra will perform "Bleeding Love" with Leona Lewis, and Jeff will sing "Iris" with Johnny Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls. Carlito Olivero will perform with Prince Royce will. They will also sing two songs each besides the duets.
Last week, Alex & Sierra sang Of Monsters and Men's "Little Talks" and "Gravity" by Sara Bareilles. They also joined Carlito for "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard. Demi Lovato was moved to tears by the rendition of "Gravity".
Jeff received standing ovations from all the judges for his rendition of "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley and "Demons" by Imagine Dragons. His mentor Kelly could not hold back her tears on listening to his rendition of "Demons". He went on to perform "Every Breath You Take" by The Police with Restless Road and outperform the trio.
Carlito sang "Boyfriend" by Justin Bieber and "I Need To Know" by Marc Anthony in the semi-finals. He also sang "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard with Alex & Sierra, earning the praises of the mentors.
The finalists - Alex & Sierra, Jeff Gutt and Carlito Olivero - will perform live for the last time tonight before the winner is announced on Thursday's episode.
