The trailer of the much-awaited film, "Ramleela" starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone has gone viral, getting almost two million views in just three days.
Produced and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, "Ramleela" is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's epic love story 'Romeo and Juliet' and is scheduled for release on 15 November.
The three minutes and six seconds trailer has a rustic and colourful looks with shades of romance between the lead pair - Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. It promises powerful dialogue and tragedy towards the end.
Ranveer and Deepika, who were rumoured to be seeing each other, shared great chemistry at the launch event of "Ramleela" trailer.
"We were destined to be cast opposite each other. It's a chemistry between Romeo and Juliet. I hope it works as our chemistry is the driving force of the story," Ranveer was quoted as saying to reporters by IANS.
Deepika talked about her much-hyped lip-lock scene with Ranveer in the film.
"I find it amusing when people ask me about lip-lock scenes. As an actor there is no difference between any scene. But when you are working with Sanjay sir, he makes even the simplest scene most difficult. He tweaks the scene in his mind," she told reporters.
"Ramleela" also features actors like Richa Chadda, Supriya Pathak, Gulshan Devaiah, Shweta Salve and Barkha Bisht Sengupta besides Ranveer and Deepika. It also has an item number featuring Priyanka Chopra.
