With new releases slated to hit screens this Friday (11 October), "Raja Rani" may find the difficult the cross the half-a-century mark.
Directed by debutant Atlee, "Raja Rani" revolves around a couple who are married against their wishes. They hate each other as they are not able to forget their ex-flames. The film is said to draw some similarities with Tamil flick "Mouna Ragam" and Kannada movie "Milana". "Raja Rani" conveys a good message that there is love after a failed romance and strikes a right chord with the youth audience.
The film opened to a good response on the first day of its release, minting approximately ₹3.20 crore at the Tamil Nadu box office. It is deemed as the best ever opening for an Arya starrer. The film's collections might significantly drop in the coming days due to new releases.
