Allu Arjun's "Race Gurram" has entered the elite $1 million club at the United States box office.
The film surpassed the $1 million mark on Friday (18 April). The family entertainer had minted $ 982,155 (₹5.93 crore) till Thursday, ending its first week on a fantastic note.
"Race Gurram" kicked off the second week in a grand manner and earned $82,062 on Friday. With the inclusion of Friday's collections, "Race Gurram" has minted $1,064,217 (₹6.42 crore) at the US box office.

"Race Gurram" has become the eighth Telugu film to enter the $1 million club. Other films are Mahesh Babu's "Dookudu", "Seethama Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" and "1 Nenokkkadine", Pawan Kalyan's "Gabbar Singh" and "Atharintiki Daaredi", Jr NTR's "Baadshah" and Sudeep-Nani's "Eega".
Trivikram directorial "Julayi" (2012) was Arjun's first blockbuster in the US. "Race Gurram" surpassed "Julayi" total run collections (US) in its first weekend itself, according to Idlebrain. The family entertainer has now become Arjun's first film to enter the $1 million club.
"Race Gurram" is doing fantastic business in India as well. The film has reportedly earned a total worldwide share of ₹33.21 crore in its first week. The Arjun starrer is likely to continue its good run at the box office as the other new releases have failed to impress the audience.
Directed by Surender Reddy, "Race Gurram" also stars Shruti Haasan, Shaam, Prakash Raj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, Posani Krishna Murali and Ravi Kishan. The film's music was composed by Thaman and cinematography was handled by Manoj Paramahamsa.
