Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Legend" is faring well in India as well as overseas box office. [Also Read: "Legend" 5-Day Collections in AP]
After having a good first weekend, "Legend" passed the Monday test minting good collections.
As Monday (31 March) was a holiday, owing to Ugadi celebrations, "Legend" performed well at the box office.
The film witnessed huge crowds in theatres, which helped it to fetch decent collections. As per earlier reports, "Legend" is said to have earned close to ₹3.5 crore share on Ugadi day at the AP/Nizam box office, reported Andharboxoffice website.
The film earned ₹13.32 crore share in its first weekend at the AP/Nizam box office and its four-day collections, including Monday figures, is expected to be over ₹16 crore.
The Balakrishna starrer is going steady on its fifth day (Tuesday, 1 April) and the film might surpass the ₹20-crore mark (share) at the end of the first week.
"Legend" is also doing fantastic business in overseas markets. The film has grossed ₹2.15 crore ($357,829) from 60 screens in the first weekend at the US box office. The film is expected to perform well in the coming days until Friday (4 April) when Mohan Babu-Vishnu Manchu's "Rowdy" hits the screens. The Ram Gopal Varma directorial will be having a big release worldwide on Friday. The film is carrying a lot of positive pre-release reviews, thanks to its impresssive first look posters, trailer and songs.
It remains to be seen if "Rowdy" will affect "Legend" collections or will it be the other way round.
