Hrithik Roshan's "Krrish 3" is gearing up for a massive release in south India on 1 November.
The astounding success of "Chennai Express" has opened the market for big Hindi films in Tamil. "Krrish 3", one of the most-awaited films of 2013 is expected to release in record number of theatres in south India.
The superhero flick will reportedly be releasing in 4,000 screens across India. According AndhraBoxOffice, the film will be releasing in around 750 screens in the south. Particularly in Andhra Pradesh, "Krrish 3" will be shown in over 425 screens with the highest being in Nizam, where it will release in more than 175 screens.
In Andhra-Ceeded areas, the screen count is expected to be over 200. There are no big Telugu releases with an exception to Vishal's "Palnadu" which will be hitting screens on 2 November. "Krrish 3" is expected to take a fantastic opening at the AP box office and the film is likely to stop the screening of recently-released Telugu releases inclduing "Bhai", "Doosukeltha", "Attarintiki Daredi" and "Ramayya Vastavayya."
The Hrithik starrer is expected to release in good number of screens in Karnataka. According to reports, the distributors of "Krrish 3" are planning to release the film in 150-200 screens in TN and Kerala area. The film's screen count might be quite lesser in TN due to other Tamil releases. Tamil actor Ajith's "Arrambam" hit the screens today (31 October), whereas Vishal's "Pandiya Nadu" and Karthi's "All in All Azhaguraja" will be arriving in theatres on 2 November.
Apart from the Hindi version of "Krrish 3", the film's Tamil and Telugu versions will be releasing simultaneously on 1 November. The second installment in this franchise, "Krrish", was a big hit in south India. Following in its steps, "Krrish 3" is also likely to rake in good collections at the south box office.
Directed by Rakesh Roshan, "Krrish 3" has Hrithik playing a dual role - as father Rohit and son Krishna. Priyanka Chopra plays the female lead, while Vivek Oberoi appears as the villain. The other cast members include Kangana Ranaut, Arif Zakaria, Mohnish Behl and martial arts stuntman Sameer Ali Khan.
