With Diwali nearing, some of the most-awaited Indian films are gearing up for a massive release worldwide.
But in Kerala, there are no Malayalam releases for the festival of lights. However, films from other languages are set to hit the screens and entertain the audience.
Hindi and Tamil films have a good market in the God's own country. This Diwali, two Tamil films and one Hindi flick are arriving in theatres.
Ajith's "Arrambam" and Karthi's "All in All Azahguraja" (AAA) are heading for a big battle with Hrithik Roshan's Hindi film "Krrish 3."
The success of Shah Rukh khan's "Chennai Express" in Tamil Nadu-Kerala area has opened the market for Hindi films. Considering the fact that Hrithik has a huge fan following down south, "Krrish 3" director Rakesh Roshan has decided to release the film on a massive scale during the festival period.
We had already reported that the makers of "Arrambam" and "Krrish 3" have started booking screens in Kerala. With Karthi's "AAA" also releasing around the same time in the state, there will definitely be a big battle to get enough number of screens. It is not known as to how many theatres have been booked by the makers of these films.
All three films are backed by popular production houses. While "Arrambam" is produced by Raghuram under Sri Satya Sai Movies, Studio Green is presenting "AAA." Hrithik's "Krrish 3", a superhero flick, has been produced by his father Rakesh Roshan under Filmkraft Productions Pvt. Ltd.
One has to wait a little longer to find out which of these films will be able to impress the Kerala audience. But one thing is for sure - this year cinema lovers will have a cracker of a Diwali.
