It seems the makers of "Krrish 3" have left no stone unturned to ensure that the film looks realistic, with lead actor Hrithik Roshan reportedly using around 500 specially made masks during the shooting.
Producer and director of the film, Rakesh Roshan bought special masks made of wax from London for the shooting despite high cost, according to a report by The Hindustan Times.
"Special make-up artistes were called in to stick it to Hrithik's face. They were present on the sets round-the-clock because the masks weren't easy to manage," The Hindustan Times quoted an insider close to the film as saying.
"While shooting in hot and humid conditions in India - in the film studios in Hyderabad, and in Mumbai, the mask would get distorted and start melting. This was because of the high temperature, which would often go up to as high as 44 degrees. At times, it seems it was so hot that in a day, he would end up changing five to six masks," added the insider.
Rakesh Roshan has said that the film will be dubbed in Tamil and Telugu to cash in on Hrithik's popularity in South India.
Featuring Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles, "Krrish 3" is the third installment of Krrish series after "Koi... Mil Gaya" and "Krrish". It was scheduled for a release on 4 November but has been advanced to 1 November.
The first trailer of "Krrish 3", which was released in August, has received almost 17 million hits. The stunts in the trailer have set a new bar and the actor is expected to be seen in dare-devil action sequences. Hrithik had claimed the film would compete with Hollywood movies like "Iron Man 3" and "The Avengers".
