Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan unveiled the official merchandise of his much-awaited superhero film, "Krrish 3" on Tuesday in the presence of his father and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan.
"Krrish 3" merchandise line will have more than 150 products, including apparel, toys, books and miniature figures in action.
"I am happy to be associated with this merchandise. I still remember, in my childhood days, we were not really well off. I used to play with pens and pencils and used to assign them superhero status. Today, (through this line of merchandise), we are providing service to children of the world. It's a wonderful service," IANS quoted Hrithik as saying at "Krrish 3" merchandise unveiling function.
"With the launch of this vast collection, we hope to take 'Krrish 3' beyond screens into the lives of its adoring fans across all age groups," added Rakesh Roshan, who produces and directs the film.
Hrithik Roshan said that his father is his superhero.
"I am thankful to my dad. If he didn't exist, there would have been no superhero genre in Indian cinema. He has broken all the barriers and has made it possible. This is because of the power of his conviction. For me, my father is my superhero," ANI quoted the actor as saying.
Featuring Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles, "Krrish 3" is the third instalment of Krrish film series after "Koi... Mil Gaya" and "Krrish". It was scheduled for release on 4 November but has been reportedly advanced to 1 November.
